Our Goals.
Here at Squirrels, we offer a warm, caring, and secure environment for your child right from the start. Providing care from babies, through to preschool and school age, 7.30 am – 5:30 pm, all year round including the holidays. We are able to offer private spaces for under 2 in our Seedlings (babies); 2*, 3, and 4-year funded spaces.
Nursery
Welcoming babies from 3 months old to our home from home nurseries. A place they can be nurtured, cared for, to grow and learn. Funding available for eligible families.
Wrap around & Holiday Care
We are lucky in the fact that lots of our families often choose to stay with us for wrap around care to their local school. We provide breakfast and after school care based in Duston and Holiday club for all children. Our Holiday club (4-14yrs) is very popular and important part of Squirrels. We love to see the children have lots of fun, learn new skills, take part in team activities, enjoy outdoor play in the Forest and special trips too. Spaces fill fast so get in touch.
Training
If you’re looking for training in Early Years then get in touch. We offer Childcare Level 1, 2 and 3 working with Parenta. Safeguarding & Child Protection including DSL. Paediatric First Aid delivered by Tigerlily Training.
About us
Squirrels Childcare started in 2013, as a home based Childcare provider with Owner and Company Director, Melissa Swain. Over the years the company has blossomed into what it is today, including two Day Nurseries, Wrap Around Care, Holiday Club and Training Provider. Our settings are warm, nurturing and family focused. We strive to provide the best care to very child in our settings, watching them grow and learn through real experiences and play. Throughout our team we have a wealth of knowledge and experience looking to welcome you and your little one into our family.
